Aloha!
January has been a cold and rainy month, yet full of adventures. Sadly, Devyn had a week of separate adventures as we vacationed in Hawai’i (Any dog who wants to visit or live in Hawai’i must spend several months in quarantine. The Hawaiian Islands don’t have rabies anywhere and they want to keep it that way.) Jake’s dad, Herb offered to host Devyn while we were away. She had a wonderful week, and tons of fun chasing around 3 new kitties (who all wanted to play, of course).

We missed Devyn terribly; we’d never left her for more than a day, let alone a whole week! Though, I guess I can’t complain too much, we had a fantastic time in Hawai’i!

Now that we’re all back in the same household again, as it should be, we’re anxiously awaiting spring and warmer weather in Seattle!
